Royal Canadian Mounted Police - National Anti-Counterfeiting Bureau (NACB)

The National Anti-Counterfeiting Bureau is a division in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, their area of expertise is in investigation on forgery (Banknotes, Documents), ensuring the public is safe from counterfeited currencies and assisting border officers in controlling the inflow of people into the country with valid documents.

 

ACTA - Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement

On October 1, 2011, eight ACTA negotiating partners signed what will become the highest-standard plurilateral agreement ever achieved concerning the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
